This is the first time in my daughters 9 years of life she has gotten lice….I am horrified, especially since no told me that a person she was around had them in the first place. I used a reg . generic formula of nix or whatever last week , it is almost impossible to get all them nits and eggs out …so I knew the 7 day period was coming that the new eggs were gonna hatch i did some research to buy a buy a metal lice comb and came across your product..i called cvs they had a kit thank god we were up will midnight for the 4 hours period , i took cap off and she slept with cream , we washed out the hair this morning , and i combed with your comb anyway . and to my surprise like i thought the eggs must of hatched baby baby lice filled that comb. Im gonna wash her hair in am again and comb again , and then use the spray on her and hopefully can get extra spray at cvs. im also considering doing a treatment next week of the product to be sure im scared to death she going to get it again …im glad i found your product….

Embarassing situation costing us treatments after treatment for over a year. Cleaning beds, sheets, towels, toys, the car, etc… over and over. Finally, tried this product ONCE and our nightmare was gone! Smells great, gentle, and no combing required. I definately think a little more should be put in the bottle! Would be different if it was available in major stores, but CVS is nowhere near our home. THANK YOU!

Quit Nits is the only product I have found that not only kills the lice but makes it easier to comb out the nits. As a mother of three girls in school who battles this problem at least once every school year, I am very happy to have found Quit Nits. It works and the creme doesn’t have a “medicine” smell to it.

My daughter got lice from school, and we have 3 little kids……..have used “traditional” lice killing shampoo for 2 weeks now, and still have eggs in hair!!!!! Poor kids have been so good about repeated treatments….I am going to try your Quit Nits preventative spray on all of us…starting tonight!!! I hope that this will FINALLY be the answer that we are looking for! Thank you, in advance, for your product, and we will let you know how it worked out!

My 8 year old daughter has had an on-going problem with head lice for the last few months. We had tried every over-the-counter product out there to no avail. Yesterday, the school nurse suggested we try Quit Nits. I hadn’t heard of it before. I have to say this is absolutely THE BEST product out there! It smells wonderful, for one thing. I love the fact that it’s non-toxic and my daughter loved the fact that it didn’t leave her long hair sticky and tangled!! I really cannot say enough good things about this product. I will continue to use the spray as a preventive measure. Thank you so much giving us hope again. We were just about to the point of shaving her head!

Thank you for your comment. Unlike other lice products that only kill lice, Quit Nits is scientifically proven to kill 100% of lice AND NITS (eggs). Traditional lice products require the additional comb-out to remove the live nits (eggs) attached to the hair shaft. Because Quit Nits kill the nits (eggs), they un-attach and rinse out with the dead lice. Any dead lice or nits still in the hair can be combed out with a comb or your fingernails. W apologize that that the nit comb provided did not meet your expectations.

Thank you for your comment. Quit Nits is scientifically proven to kill lice and nits (eggs) in hair with proper treatment and administration. Partial or improper product contact with a louse may allow it to survive for a few hours. As the directions indicate, it is sometimes necessary to leave the product in the hair overnight for serious infestations.

Resistance lice are a phenomenon that occurs over a very long period of time. Malathion for instance was 70% effective in 1964 but has slowly declined to 30% in recent years (but only in certain areas). For resistance to occur, an insect has to undergo successive DNA changes over very many generations before it can be truly resistant, a process that can take decades.
